Builds relationship with key business partners to
identify and resolve business issues.
Manages system development and support activities to meet
business needs in a timely and cost effective manner while ensuring the right
things get done as per the governance process.
Manages and tracks the progress of multiple
projects. Performs project management
and administration that include work plans, resource planning and control,
writing status reports, and preparing annual budgets.
Communicates status of activities with teams, peers,
management, and business partners.
Selects, develops, coaches, and motivates assigned staff.
Thinks strategically and applies tactical experience to
future state architectures and designs.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Typically requires ten to fifteen years’ experience based
on consistently demonstrated capabilities.
Knowledge of MS Office.
Expert proficiency with the AutoZone software
architecture, methodology, governance, and roll-out/implementation process.
People leadership/supervisory skills.
Previous experience with implementing and managing tools
and technologies in the Business Intelligence space, such as Data Warehousing,
ETL, Reporting, Metadata Management, Analytics, etc.
Technical skills may include experience with one or more
of: UNIX, Linux, Windows, Cobol, Java, MS SQL, C, C++, Informix, Greenplum,
Hadoop, ATG, QT4, Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2/SQL, JCL, CSP, CICS, TCP/IP, Networking and LAN administration.
Problem solving and analytical skills.
Presentation, facilitation and writing skills.
Project management – estimating, planning, controlling,
risk management, issue resolution, and execution.
